Charlie Buckholtz

Charlie Buckholtz, a rabbi and writer, attended Williams College and Yeshivat Hamivtar, received an MFA in fiction writing from Syracuse University and rabbinical ordination from the Bat Ayin Yeshiva.

Charlie held a year-long fellowship as a rabbinical apprentice to Rabbi Yitz Greenberg, served for three years as Rabbi of the Sixth Street Community Synagogue in the East Village and is a senior editor at the Shalom Hartman Institute.

Charlie is the coauthor of three books -

His writing has been featured in The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, and Tablet Magazine.
