Elijah Aaron

Elijah Aaron is a songwriter/composer/producer from Columbus, Ohio. Born in Jerusalem, Isarael, Elijah grew up hearing Jewish soul music most of his early life. He soon began drumming on pots and pans and improvising melodies. At age 15, he picked up the guitar and began to put his poems and lyrics to music. It wasn't long before he was performing his songs in and out of Columbus, Ohio.

Elijah attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He studied world percussion as well as songwriting and production. Since graduating from Berklee in 2007, Elijah has performed his original music all across the United States. He has produced many full length albums and composed music for TV and film.

Aaron is currently recording his 5th full-length studio album. It will be the first of any of his albums to contain strong world percussion fused with a smooth current of Jewish spice!

"Although his approach is eclectic, he is a true American in that regard. He has studied Brazilian, Afro Cuban, South Indian and Jazz musical forms which he has been distilling into an original voice."
-Jamey Haddad, lead percussionist for Paul Simon
