Reni Dickman

Rabbi Reni Dickman is the Director of InterfaithFamily Chicago and was ordained in 2003 at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City where she also earned a Masters of Hebrew Letters. She graduated from Cornell University in 1994 with a B.A. in Near Eastern Studies and Government. She has also studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Drisha Institute for Jewish Education in New York City. She is passionate about teaching Hebrew as a doorway into Jewish thought and ritual. She strives to present Judaism as a compelling, flexible and comforting path to wrestle with our deepest concerns and celebrate our greatest joys. Reni is dedicated to combining Jewish education with service and advocacy. She lives in Evanston, IL with her husband and two children and enjoys singing and acoustic guitar. She relishes time to reflect and engage in deep conversations with friends old and new.
