BimBam sparks connections to Judaism through digital storytelling.
Sarah Lefton is an educator, producer, writer and the founder of BimBam, an animation and new media studio sparking conversations about Jewish values, identity and literacy through digital storytelling. Sarah has produced over 300 short films and mobile apps. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, NPR, the Wall Street Journal and CNN. She is a recipient of the Pomegranate Prize for exceptional educators, a recipient of the Joshua Venture Group fellowship for Jewish social entrepreneurs, and was named one of the "Forward 50" most influential Jews by the Forward newspaper. Her Masters work at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program investigated early augmented reality applications for video locations scouting. She loves filmmaking, teaching, and travel.
