Rabbi Geffen is the senior rabbi of North Shore Congregational Israel in Chicago.Previously she chaired the 2017 CCAR Convention and is now the CCAR vice president of programming; she was a CLAL LEAP fellow, a Rabbis Without Borders fellow, and a 2012-2013 writer’s fellow of AJWS. Additionally, she is on the Executive Board of the Chicago Board of Rabbis, serves on a number of local Jewish and communal boards, and is a frequent commentator to the press on issues of national importance.
