When Diane’s son, Aidan, was born, they weren’t able to do a traditional Jewish bris and baby naming on the eighth day of his life, so instead they decided to hold an alternative naming ceremony when her son turned one. Diane talks about the experience of this new tradition, and shares the story of picking a Hebrew name.
