Parshat Vayeshev helps everyone remember Joseph (Yosef) – you know, the many-colored-coat guy. Hip Hop artist Daniel Silverstein (aka Danny Raphael) tells the story of he and his jealous brothers in rhyme.

Each week, a different storyteller – some musical, some poetic, some just straight-up, tell the story of the current weekly Torah portion…and then we animate it! This animated short is Episode 9 from Parshat Vayeshev (וַיֵּשֶׁב “and he lived” Genesis 37:1–40:23).
