Joel Stanley is Moishe House's Senior Regional Director: West, living and working out of the Bay Area. Before moving to the US, he spent three years as Moishe House's Director of International Programming in London, UK, where he began his relationship with Moishe House as a founding resident of Moishe House London. He is also a facilitator and Jewish educator, working with a number of different organizations across the Jewish communal spectrum and specializing in applied theatre techniques for community building and learning. He has a B.A. in English from Oxford and an M.A. in applied drama from Goldsmiths College London, and studied Torah at Yeshivat Simchat Shlomo in Jerusalem. Joel is an alum of the Paideia Project Incubator, Siach and Tibetan Jewish Youth Exchange and has taught at numerous Limmud conferences. He loves 5Rhythms dancing, Burning Man, trapeze, meditation, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Scrabble.
