Jon Madof is a guitarist and composer based in New York.

He leads the 13-piece band Zion80 and the 'Jewish power trio' Rashanim, both on John Zorn's Tzadik Records. Performances include the Jewish Culture Festival (Krakow, Poland), Saalfelden Jazzfestival (Austria), Tzadik Festival (Poznan, Poland), Off New York Festival (Germany), Leipzig Jazz Festival, Glatt Und Verkehrt Festival (Austria), Washington DC Jewish Music Festival, Brooklyn Academy of Music and elsewhere in the US and Europe.

Jon also composes music for film and television and has collaborated with musicians including John Zorn, Matisyahu, Marc Ribot, and Frank London.
