BimBam sparks connections to Judaism through digital storytelling.
Emma Jaszczak is a Jewish arts educator and a student in HUC-JIR’s Rhea Hirsch School of Education. She received her M.S. in Arts Education from The Florida State University in 2015, and will receive her M.A. in Jewish Education from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in May 2019. Her capstone project is a curriculum guide for a high school religious school classroom focusing on our responsibility toward civic engagement as Jewish members of multiple communities. She has worked in various educational settings, from a public elementary school art classroom to a summer camp inclusion program for Jewish teens on the autism spectrum, and believes that quality education should be both engaging and accessible for all ages and stages of learners.
